Labelexpo is Coming: Are You Ready?

Labelexpo Americas 2014 is fast approaching, and if you’re attending the event, I’m sure you’re in the thick of booth visits and travel preparations. I know I am!

This year’s event is sure to be an exciting one. There are so many interesting and new technologies that are going to be released. The word on the street is that at least 3 completely new print technologies, including 3D printing, will be unveiled at the show.
This is excellent news for the labeling and printing industry.

In terms of adhesives, Franklin Adhesives & Polymers will be exhibiting at the show, and will be unveiling a PSA with unique characteristics. From the very early information
I’ve been given, it is an adhesive that stays clear and can be re-adhered over and over again — a product with a real place in the flexible packaging market. I’m excited to hear more about this new product and its capabilities.

As for me, I will be busy with booth appointments and booth drop-ins. I will also be sitting on a panel of editors, discussing the growth and future of labels for packaging.
